Butcombe Group has appointed Alice Bowyer as managing director of its managed house division as part of a wider corporate restructure.
The appointment follows the publication of the company’s financial results, which showed the group’s EBITDA grew by 23% alongside an 8% increase in like-for-like sales.
The newly created role aims to integrate food, drink, accommodation, and operations across the estate.
Bowyer joined the business more than 10 years ago as an executive chef before working as group executive chef and director of food and drink.
In her new position, she will oversee commercial growth and guest experience across the managed venues.
The company has also made two senior promotions to support the new operational structure.
Maria Bishop has been named head of drinks and retail, while Jasper Prickett has been promoted to head of food.
Jayson Perfect, chief operating officer, said: “Following a record-breaking FY26, including 23% EBITDA growth in our managed pubs and inns, this new structure ensures we are well positioned to build on that momentum.
“Alice’s new role reflects not only her exceptional track record within the business but also the breadth of leadership and strategic insight she brings. Alongside this, the promotions across our team demonstrate our continued commitment to recognising and developing talent as we grow.”
