Coppa Collective has completed the acquisition of four hospitality sites from Grosvenor Pubs and Inns following the final lease agreement for a Hampshire venue.

The group received landlord consent to take over the lease for the Wellington Arms, allowing the deal for the four sites to conclude. The acquisition follows original announcements made on 6 March and 24 March.

The venues, which form the Linwood Collection, will continue to operate under their existing names, and include Wild Thyme and Honey in the Cotswolds and the Hare and Hounds in Berkshire.

The Stag on the River in Surrey and the Wellington Arms are also included in the transaction.

Coppa Collective has also agreed terms to potentially acquire the Queen’s Head in Surrey. That site remains subject to an ongoing asset of community value process. The group said it cannot exchange until the relevant statutory notification and moratorium period has expired.

The company will provide a further update on the Surrey site in due course.

CEO Mark Loughborough said: “The Linwood Collection is a natural extension of our hospitality platform, adding a collection of destination venues with strong reputations and significant long-term potential.

“We look forward to welcoming the teams into the group and to building on the character and appeal of each site.”
