The Portman Estate has announced the signing of two new culinary openings from the Pachamama Group for 2026 in London’s Loxton Walk – a new retail, wellness and dining destination for Marylebone developed by The Portman Estate and Derwent London.
At 96 George Street, a corner flagship with dual frontages onto George Street and Loxton Walk, the group will unveil a 6,000 sq. ft all-day dining venue, its largest restaurant venture in London to date.
With space for 190 guests across a main dining room, private dining spaces and alfresco seating, the site will house Soraya, a Persian-inspired restaurant founded in Abu Dhabi, focused on sharing plates and a contemporary interpretation of Persian cooking.
The adjacent 1,200 sq. ft space at 8 Loxton Walk will debut a new street food dining concept for which brand and cuisine details have not yet been disclosed.
Originally inspired by Peruvian cuisine, the Pachamama Group’s portfolio has expanded to include Nina in Marylebone, Bottarga in Chelsea, Zephyr in Notting Hill and Lagana in Shoreditch.
Most recently, the company launched its second Zephyr location in Marietta, Monaco.
Loxton Walk is currently open to the public between 9am – 8pm during its soft launch period, with Atis, Supply 91, Potato Pottery and DL/Service being the first businesses to open within the space.
The Pachamama Group will join the collection of new F&B and wellness brands set to launch at Loxton Walk in the coming months, including X-Club and X-Club Nourish, Le Choux, Iris Avenue and Matchado.
Puja Dowlani, retail associate director at The Portman Estate, said: “The Pachamama Group is a welcome addition to Loxton Walk bringing not one, but two new signature concepts to our new destination. Their reputation for creating warm and beautifully executed dining experiences aligns perfectly with the kind of independent, innovative, stand-out F&B operators we champion across our neighbourhood.”
Tom Knight, portfolio director at The Portman Estate, added: “Loxton Walk, our newest addition to the Portman Marylebone portfolio, was designed to attract distinctive, best-in-class brands, and Pachamama Group embodies that ambition. Their largest London restaurant to date, paired with a new street food concept, will anchor the development with a compelling blend of creativity and scale.
“We’re proud to support operators who contribute to Marylebone’s evolving food culture, and these new additions will play a key role in shaping Loxton Walk as a standout destination within the Estate.”
Pachamama Group said: “It’s a new chapter for the group – one we wanted to start somewhere that mattered. Marylebone has long been part of our story, and this next step allows us to grow while staying true to how we think about food, design and its atmosphere.
“The larger all-day restaurant is shaped by experiences and influences that began beyond London, now being thoughtfully reinterpreted closer to home, while the other allows us to explore something more immediate, playful and neighbourhood-led.”
