Eagle Bar has expanded its offering at The Chancery Rosewood hotel with the opening of a second terrace bar, Upper West.

Located on the seventh floor of the former US Embassy building in Mayfair, the new venue sits opposite the existing Upper East bar. The two spaces are positioned on either side of a central six-storey atrium and have a combined capacity of more than 200 guests.

Upper West overlooks Hyde Park and focuses on aperitifs, wine and Champagne, while Upper East overlooks Grosvenor Square and offers a cocktail menu inspired by American bar culture.

The venues are led by director of bars Liana Oster and general manager Maura Milia. Upper East operates daily from 17:00, while Upper West is open from 15:00 to 23:00.

Milia said: “Upper West and Upper East offer two very distinct spaces and experiences while keeping the utmost hospitality and sense of connection at the centre of what we deliver. We are fortunate to provide our guests with such choice, catering for different tastes and occasions always elevated by our stunning space and remarkable views of London.”
