The Swan at Marbury, Cheshire has achieved gold accreditation from tourist board VisitEngland.
The pub secured the highest level of recognition available through the national pub quality scheme.
Inspectors evaluated the site against national criteria developed in partnership with the British Beer and Pub Association.
The business gained the award based on its food quality, hospitality, and facilities. The venue has previously won regional titles including best pub in Cheshire at the Pub and Bar Awards.
The country pub is operated by Pubs Limited, a privately owned hospitality group founded by Jerry Brunning and Beth Brunning. The company also manages four other venues across Chester, Gorsedd, Farndon, and Whitchurch.
The site will host a beer festival in August featuring 15 cask and keg beers alongside live music. Managers also operate walking routes for customers that offer a 10% bill discount after four completions.
