The Bath Brew House has reopened following a complete refurbishment of its interior and exterior spaces.

The project at the city centre site includes a redesigned microbrewery, where head brewer Max Cadman produces cask ales and craft beers.

Signature pours include Gladiator and Emperor, which reference the city’s Roman history.

A new outdoor area features one of the largest beer gardens in Bath. It now contains a burger shack serving double-smash patties, an outdoor bar, and five bookable huts equipped with private screens.

Inside, the pub has been updated with industrial finishes and neon lighting. A first-floor private hire space, known as the Tank Room, overlooks the brewery and accommodates 50 guests.

Head chef Ash Smith has introduced a refreshed menu focused on sociable dining. New dishes include spiced pork belly bites and beer cheese fondue, alongside traditional Sunday roasts and fish and chips.

The venue has a total capacity for 450 guests and will host weekly events such as quizzes and beer tastings. Management confirmed the site will also screen live sport, including the World Cup.

The business has operated in the city for more than 10 years and continues to prioritise its on-site brewing heritage.
