Catering company Elior UK has announced that chief executive Catherine Roe will step down after leading the business for 12 years, bringing to a close a career spanning more than two decades with the wider Elior Group.

During her tenure as chief executive, Roe oversaw a period of sustained growth for the UK business, delivering increases in both revenue and profitability. Her departure marks a significant leadership transition for the company, which forms part of the global Elior Group, a business generating annual revenues of €6.15bn.

To ensure a smooth transition, Roe will remain with the company until 30 September 2026, working closely with her successor, Michal Seal, who currently serves as managing director of healthcare.

Seal takes on the role after successfully returning Elior UK’s healthcare division to profitability through a focus on client retention and operational efficiency. Prior to joining Elior, she spent more than seven years at SSP Group, where she held a range of roles focused on commercial performance and brand development.

The group said the planned handover is intended to provide a smooth transition as Elior UK enters its next phase under new leadership.
