Toni Mitchell appointed head chef as site introduces new menu and events calendar

The Bear pub in Oxshott has reopened following a full refurbishment of its interior and outdoor spaces.

The project included a complete redesign of the seating areas and the installation of new decking and lighting on the terrace.

The site is now operating under head chef Toni Mitchell, with a menu focused on seasonal British ingredients.

New dishes include a Jacob’s Ladder short rib, a minted Welsh lamb and pea pastry pie, and a variety of seafood sharing platters.

The beverage range has been updated to include cask ales, global wines, and a selection of non-alcoholic drinks.

The pub has also introduced a weekly schedule of events, including quiz nights and monthly specialised steak and seafood evenings.

Mitchell, has designed the menu to span midweek dining and larger group bookings. The Sunday service features roast cuts such as pork belly and West Country rump of beef, alongside vegetarian options.

Simon Wolf, chief executive of the site’s operating group, said: “Adam’s experience and long history of running sales workshops across the globe will now infuse the knowledge that the great sales folks on the shop floor need. Adam will help tell the story of why a Wolf is so important to each and every watch and jewellery lover.”
