Italian pasta restaurant Padella has officially opened its new site in Soho at 2 Kingly Street, marking its West End debut.

Padella was founded by hospitality duo Jordan Frieda and chef Tim Siadatan, and is known for its contemporary small-plates approach using local produce, with signature dishes including Pici Cacio e Pepe and Beef Shin Ragu.
The new 2,300 sq ft Soho restaurant spans two floors with 80 covers, with interiors blending warm wood, chrome, and Formica on the lower floor, and soft pink upholstered seating above, inspired by Soho’s 1960s lounge culture.
Jordan Frieda and Tim Siadatan, co-founders at Padella, said: “Inspired by our many trips to Italy, Padella was designed to celebrate the joy of simple, high-quality pasta dishes. As we mark our 10th anniversary, our Soho restaurant reflects the continued growth and evolution of our concept.
“Bringing an affordable, fast-paced, and authentic dining experience to our guests has always been key, so opening in a location that matches our brand’s energy was essential. With its renowned and diverse food and drink scene, Soho is the perfect stage for our West End debut, and we can’t wait to share Padella with this vibrant community.”
Emma Matus, head of Restaurant Leasing at Shaftesbury Capital, added: “Soho’s hospitality offer continues to evolve, and Padella reflects the calibre of concepts and creativity shaping the neighbourhood. Padella is a highly anticipated arrival, its West End debut an eye-catchingaddition to Soho’s established mix of best-in-class restaurants, bars, and retail. It will resonate with our diverse audience, introducing offers that can play a part in every different visitor purpose.”
