YouMeSushi is set to open a new outlet on Upper Street in Islington this May as part of a rapid expansion strategy.

The franchise has also confirmed it will open sites in Canterbury, Wandsworth, and Milton Keynes within the coming weeks. These follow recent launches in Victoria, Chatham, and Watford.

The Islington store will feature an eat-in design intended to appeal to the local community, offering a menu of fresh sushi and noodle dishes. The brand also maintains delivery partnerships with Uber Eats and Deliveroo.

Founded 18 years ago, the company began franchising in 2021 and currently operates 30 locations nationwide. It is now seeking new applications from experienced operators to support further growth.

The business offers multi-unit franchise opportunities, providing investors with an established model and full training. The group is positioning itself as a first-to-market concept within the high-street sushi sector.

Tim Circus, franchise development director, said: “Our new Islington store will be thoughtfully designed to appeal to the local community. We create an ‘eat in’ feel, and customers are welcome to visit, enjoy a bowl of noodles or a plate of fresh sushi, or to collect a meal to share with friends and family at home.

“Our established relationships with UberEats and Deliveroo mean food can be delivered for convenience too. However people like to dine, our Islington team will be here to treat taste buds and tempt valued customers with our fabulously flavourful dishes.”
