Oak View Group has announced the appointment of Katie Harel, its former marketing vice president, as managing director of OVG Hospitality to lead its strategic and creative divisions in the UK.
Based in London, Harel will report to the president of OVG Hospitality, Ken Gaber. Her responsibilities include marketing, new business, commercial growth, and brand positioning.
Harel joined OVG International as vice president of marketing in 2024, having previously spent more than a decade at Rhubarb Hospitality Collection, which OVG acquired in 2023.
The expansion of OVG Hospitality in the UK follows the success of OVG’s model in the US where it provides industry-leading food and drink at major US sports venues, such as Mortgage Matchup Center, Benchmark International Arena and Penn State’s Beaver Stadium.
Harel said: “I am incredibly excited to take on this role after more than a decade at Rhubarb Hospitality Collection, and the past few years as part of OVG. I look forward to bringing the same creative energy, focus on quality and proven approach to OVG Hospitality.”
