Greene King has launched new food and beverage menus across more than 70 heritage pubs across the UK.
The implementation is part of a wider effort to improve guest experience through strengthening quality, variety and service. The changes follow a two-year premium investment programme by the group.
The menus, which will launch from this month, involve a wider selection suitable for different occasions, dietary requirements and the upcoming summer season. The menu will also feature pub classics and Sunday roasts.
Alongside Greene King’s own beers, other classic, shaken, spritz and alcohol-free cocktails are available as well as premium wines and spirits, improved hot beverages and soft drink options.
Jamie McDiarmid, brand operations director at Greene King, said: “Our heritage estate has some truly iconic pubs with great stories to tell. All are in wonderful settings in cities and towns or along the River Thames and it is fitting to match these unique pubs with carefully curated menus and quality service designed to wow our customers when they visit.
“We have elevated our offer to include premium wines, cocktails and dishes with seasonal specials, alongside new glassware, crockery, set-up, branded clothing and touchpoints to really enhance the experience at every step in the guest journey. These pubs are popular with local residents and tourists and we want each and every customer to soak up the individuality, quality and history of the pub.”
He added: “We are proud to be the custodians of these historic gems, preserving the charm and character for customers with top-notch food and drink.”
