Smacks Burgers and Hot Chicken has reported a 49% year-on-year increase in system sales for the three months ended 30 April 2026, driven by demand for core menu items.
The fast-food chain, which operates 14 sites, plans to open 25 new locations over the next 18 months. Its recent expansion plans included new franchise openings in Glasgow, Cardiff and Brighton, alongside a company-owned restaurant in London Victoria.
The next site will open at Morden Underground Station within the next six weeks, marking the first transport location for the company.
The group also launched a franchisee recruitment programme this year and received more than 250 enquiries since January.
Founded in 2021 by Kaysor Ali, the brand is backed by the musicians Casyo ‘Krept’ Johnson and Karl ‘Konan’ Wilson.
Ali said: “There is so much momentum within our business at the moment. Across the UK, we are seeing consumers who are still willing to spend on eating out, but are being more selective over what they are eating.
“Our growth demonstrates real demand for high-quality, fresh and tasty meals, served at affordable prices. For us, the next phase is about finding the right franchise partners and locations to help bring Smacks to more communities, while establishing our brand as the go-to for quality meals.”
